Peter presents workshops in choreography, physical theater, dance, juggling, and movement with objects. He has completed numerous multi-week residencies in public schools, as well as workshops for professional performers, colleges, and corporations.

Current Educational Projects:

Peter is a guest choreographer for the Denver School of the Arts Spring Dance Concert, creating a new dance involving object manipulation. Performances will take place at DSA on April 26 - 28, 2012.

The Shining Mountain Waldorf School in Boulder will present a youth circus, Dreamtime, on May 4 & 5, 2012. Peter is part of a multi-disciplinary faculty teaching circus skills and providing choreographic input.

Peter is an ongoing faculty member of the Boulder Ballet School where he teaches ballet, physical theater for dancers, Boyz Dance and pas de deux.

Basic Offerings:

Educational Workshops
Generally aimed at elementary school students, educational workshops include elements of object manipulation and mime, and can be tailored to include content from other curricular areas such as science, math and history. 50–minutes to multiple days.

Dance with Objects
Geared toward students or professionals in the movement arts, this workshop mixes technical work, repertoire and guided creative exploration. 90–minutes to multiple days.

Juggling Workshop
Peter teaches object manipulation from the vaudeville tradition including toss juggling (found to beneficially connect the two sides of the brain), balancing, plate tricks and more. 60–minutes to multiple days.

School Assembly
A mix of movement pieces presented with verbal explanation and audience participation. This multi-disciplinary movement performance includes elements of science, history and foreign language. 45–minutes.
